A Luxury Safari in
Kanha National Park
A drive through Kanha is always a wonderful experience, the forest is absolutely stunning and boasts a diverse species of Birds and Mammals. Tigers, Leopards, Sloth Bears, Dholes and Golden Jackals are the species that we may cross paths with apart from large herds of Chital (Spotted Deer), Sambar Deer and Wild Boar.
Kanha is the only place in the world where one can find Swamp Deer known locally as Barasingha living on hard ground.

Itinerary
Day 1
- Arrive at Jabalpur airport, ground transfer to Bandhavgarh National Park (3-4 hours).
- Check into the resort, lunch and snacks will be available depending on your time of arrival.
- Have a leisurely evening with a brief from your mentor about the upcoming safaris.
- Dinner at the resort.
- Head to bed as we have an early start the next day!
Day 2 / Day 3 / Day 4
- Morning game drive.
- Breakfast will be served inside the park.
- Exit the park after our safari and make our way to the resort.
- Relax and freshen up for a while.
- Reconvene for lunch.
- Post lunch, get ready for our Afternoon game drive.
- Exit the park after our safari and make our way to the resort.
- Tea, Coffee and snacks will be served on our arrival.
- Swap some jungle stories and reminisce about the experiences of the day while reviewing photos along with some photo editing tutorials from your mentor.
- Make our way to dinner.
- Head to bed as we have an early start the next day!
Day 5
- Morning game drive.
- Breakfast will be served inside the park.
- Exit the park after our safari and make our way to the resort.
- Say our goodbyes until we meet again!
- Checkout by 11 am.
- Transfer to Jabalpur airport.

What type of camera equipment is recommended for the Kanha photography tour?
We recommend bringing a DSLR or mirrorless camera with a telephoto lens (at least 400mm) for capturing wildlife. Additionally, consider carrying a wide-angle lens for landscape shots.
Are tripods allowed during game drives?
No, tripods are generally not allowed during game drives as they can obstruct the view for other participants. Monopods or bean bags are recommended for stability.
How close can we get to the tigers and other wildlife?
Vehicles are restricted to designated paths, and the distance to wildlife is regulated for safety reasons. It's crucial to respect the animals' space and avoid disrupting their natural behavior.
What clothing and gear should participants bring?
Wear comfortable, earth-toned clothing to blend into the surroundings. Bring a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and comfortable footwear.
Are photography guides provided, and what is their expertise?
Yes, experienced photography guides who are familiar with the region and its wildlife will accompany the group. They will provide guidance on wildlife behavior, photography techniques, and the best spots for capturing shots.
Is there a limit on the number of participants per safari vehicle?
Yes, to ensure everyone has a good view and photography opportunities, there is a limit of four participants per vehicle. Each vehicle is open- topped for an unobstructed view.
What are the ways to reach Kanha?
The nearest airports are in Jabalpur and Nagpur. For those traveling by train, the closest railway stations are Gondia (145 KMS) and Jabalpur (160 KMS). We can assist with local transfers to Kanha by road at additional costs.
What happens in case of bad weather?
Game drives may continue in light rain, but severe weather conditions may lead to cancellations or schedule adjustments by the park authorities for safety. Participants will be notified accordingly.
